Studied at Bruckner University in Linz and at University of the Arts in Amsterdam and graduated with a BA in Contemporary Dance and Dance Pedagogy.
Main teachers on her pathway have been her mom, Pamina Milewska who showed her access to inner freedom, and Irene Fischer – her first role model as a survivor in the art scene. Some of her most inspiring dance teachers with their approach to technique, improvisation and personality in Contemporary Dance were Alexander Gottfarb, Jianan Qu and Jeanine Durning. Marina is influenced by her Russian roots and European upbringing, years of couchsurfing, nature and mud, as well as Nonviolent Communication, Applied Theatre, Contact Improvisation, Feldenkrais and Meditation. Amongst others she is collaborating with Tanz- und Theaterwerkstatt Ludwigsburg, Joe Edelman, a value based human systems designer and Sarah Beckmann, an embodied NVC coach, dancer and psychologist. Currently she is enrolled in the MA CoDE program at HfMDK in Frankfurt.
