Dear guests, we are pleased to welcome you to our varied program of public concerts and theater and dance performances at the University of Music and Performing Arts.
Entrance and reservations
Unless otherwise specified you can purchase tickets on the day of the event (on Fridays for weekend events) from 10 am to 1 pm in the Künstlerisches Betriebsbüro or from one hour before the event begins at the box office. Tickets cost 8 € (6 € concessions, 1 € for holders of a Kulturpass). In addition, with immediate effect, you also have the option of purchasing tickets online as print@home tickets. We regret that it is not possible to reserve tickets for events. Seats are not numbered.
Tickets for external events or in-house guest concerts cannot be reserved via the Künstlerisches Betriebsbüro of the HfMDK; the ticket prices are either specified or you can find out by calling the telephone number given.
How to get here
You can reach the main HfMDK building by taking the subway lines U1, 2, 3, or 8 to Eschenheimer Tor or Grüneburgweg. Parking is available at the Querstraße parking garage. For further information please see the map under "How to find us".
For big events there are often queues at the box office.
For safety reasons we cannot allow more spectators into the halls than there are seats available.
We would like to enable our artists to perform in a tranquil atmosphere and to allow our audiences to enjoy the concert undisturbed. We would therefore ask visitors who arrive after the concert has begun to wait until the applause before entering the hall and not to leave the hall while performances are in progress.
The events at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts are part of the university’s educational program. For this reason it often happens that we have to cancel an event or change the program – sometimes at short notice. For up-to-date information please check the online events calendar.
Thank you for your understanding! We look forward to your visit and wish you many enjoyable hours in the special atmosphere of our university.
