Here you will find information about leave of absence during your studies. Please read this information carefully before you fill out the application for leave of absence.
Students may take leave of absence within the re-registration period if they have an important reason for doing so. During leave of absence the student retains student status and must continue to pay the full semester fee. Leave of absence semesters do not count as regular semesters. A leave of absence excludes the acquisition of credits or taking exams. During leave of absence students may, however, re-take exams they have failed.
Students must apply in writing to the Office of Student Affairs for a leave of absence. The required supporting documents must be attached to the application.
