With your support our goal is to create optimal study conditions for the most gifted musicians, actors, and dancers from all over the world. If you would like to aid us in this endeavor either as a member of the Society of Friends and Patrons of HfMDK (GFF), as a scholarship donor, a benefactor or through a donation to a specific project please contact the Fundraising office.
For many years now we’ve been putting our students in touch with private event organizers and various partners in the Frankfurt public sphere such as companies, public facilities, and cultural institutions. If you're celebrating a special occasion and are looking for some live music to add a little atmosphere we’d be pleased to help you.
Recent press releases (in German) can be found here. If you have any questions or require authorised photographs for publications please don't hesitate to contact the press office.
In 1938, the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts was founded after several degree programs split off from the Dr. Hoch's Conservatory. Read more about our history and development throughout the 20th century - leading up to the celebration of our 75th anniversary in 2013.
The events at Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts are part of the university’s educational program. For this reason we sometimes have to cancel an event or change the program – in some cases at short notice. For up-to-date information please refer to the online events calendar.
Tickets for most of our concerts as well as theater or dance performances can be bought online one week in advance. Detailed information on ticket sales online or at the box office can be found on this page.
