The application process for this full time study program occurs every two years. The application deadline for the 2012-2014 study cycle is 27^th of  December 2011. The selection weekend takes place on 28th – 29^th of January 2012 in Frankfurt.

How to apply

• Download and fill out the application form

• Write about your motivation. Why do you want to study contemporary dance pedagogy and why in Frankfurt? How do you imagine your future in the field? (Up to 4000 characters including empty spaces)

• Write about a class or performance you have recently enjoyed. (Up to 2000 characters including empty spaces)

The Selection Weekend

We will be sending invitations for the Selection Weekend based upon the written application materials and biography. Applicants from overseas may send their written application in advance of the deadline, and receive an early invitation in order to facilitate travel arrangements. The weekend consists of a contemporary training and improvisation session with all applicants as a group, an individual 20-min teaching example, a movement research example and an interview. As a preparation for the weekend the participants should contextualise and write about their teaching example. More specifications will be submitted with the invitation and the description of the Selection Weekend will be available on the website soon. The working language of the program is English and German.
