The application process occurs every two years. The application deadline for the
2009-2011 study cycle was 15. May 2009.
The selection weekend took place on 6.-7. June 2009.

How to apply

• Download and fill out the application form
• Write about your values and motivation. What is important to you: reflections on dance, art, teaching, the process of learning, your views about change, the relationship between art and society, between dance and personal development. Write about your vision: where are you now, where do you want to be, why do you want to participate in this program? (up to 200 words)
• Write about a class you have recently taken. What was the nature of the material presented in the class? What was the teacher’s intention?  How was the lesson structured? What engaged your curiosity or enthusiasm? (up to 200 words)
• Write about a performance that you enjoyed. Perceptions and reflections about movement material, compositional form, the quality of presence or communication on stage, the theatrical setting, what moved or inspired you. (up to 200 words)

The Selection Weekend

We will be sending invitations for the Selection Weekend based upon the written application materials and biography. Applicants from overseas may send their written application in advance of the deadline, and receive an early invitation in order to facilitate travel arrangements. The primary working language of the program is English.
