During semester-time     Mo-Fr   9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
During holidays               Mo-Fr 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

 

The University library holds some 110,000 media units, including around 73,000 music scores, 22,000 books and 15,000 sound recordings and videos. Students and academic staff of the University may borrow from the library, any external persons interested may use the library for reference only and may not borrow books. The library also keeps some bequests from musicians, including those of Bernhard Sekles, composer and former Principal of the University, and of violinist and violin teacher Gustav Lenzewski from Frankfurt. Use of the bequests is possible only by prior arrangement with the library management.
